Regional Singles/Doubles

Matthew opened up play against EV #2 and played well but lost in straight sets

John played the same player and also played well but lost in straight sets.

In doubles John and Matthew defeated Chancellor 7-6(7-3) 6-0 to advance to the Regional Quarter Finals on Tuesday May 29

Cougars season ends with a tough loss to Louisa 5-4

After a week of rain the Cougars took the court to play Louisa at home.  The match lasted over 4 1/2 hours and came down to the final match on the court.

Cougars sweep Chargers in season finale

The boys finished the regulars season with a 9-7 overall record and 8-4 in the Battlefield District by  defeating Chancellor 9-0

The Cougars will travel to Easternview for the Battlefield District quarter finals tomorrow, May 9 if we win we will play on Thursday, May 10 if we lose we will practice

We will open Regional play with a home match on Tuesday, May 14 at 1:00 pm (dismissal will be at 12:30) opponent to be determined.  

If we win we will play Wednesday May 15 and if we win we will play Thursday, May 16.  Finals will be Monday, May 21 times and locations TBD

Cougars win at Spotsylvania

The Cougars improved to 8-7(7-4) with a win at  Spotsylvania  7-2

Cougars fall to Mountain View 6-3

The Cougars fall to 5-6 (4-3) with a loss to Mountain View 6-3.  Without two of the top six the boys played well and came very close to defeating Mountain View.
