Cougars roll in home opener!!

The Courtland Boy's tennis team defeated King George 9-0 in their home opener yesterday. Great job guys!!!

Results:

#5 Denzel won 10-4
#6 Chris won 10-5

Doubles:
#1 Andrew and Ben won 10 - 0
#2 Greg and Scott won 10-2
#3 Denzel and Josh won 10-5

Exhibition:
Troy won 10-3
Allen 7-9 (did not finish)

We will travel to Massapponax on Monday, March 22 for a non-district match.

Riverbend make-up date set!

The Riverbend match that was postponed due to rain has been rescheduled for Monday, April 26 @ 4:00

Look Ahead

With the nice weather yesterday and today we will get some good work in. Brandon stopped by practice and worked with Andrew and Ben and the rest worked on possible doubles pairings for next weeks matches.

Seeding tourney!

Yesterday was a good day, a lot of wind but we were able to get some work in. Today, March 5, we will play sets to determine the seeds to start the season.

Poor day for tennis!!

Today we attempted to play some tennis but the weather didn't cooperate. Rain mixed with a little snow preventing us from getting a full practice in. You are reminded to listen carefully to the daily announcements at the end of the day in case of inclement weather. I also will be expecting more active participation and viewing of the blog. This will be used as our communication throughout the season.

New Date for Tryouts!!!!

Because of the snow that remains on and around the tennis courts, tryouts will be moved.

Boys report on Tuesday, March 2 from 3:00-5:30.

Please remember to have your physical forms turned into Mr. Lowman prior to tryouts.
