2021 Tennis Information

 The plan for the 2021 tennis season is as follows:

March 1, 2021 First day of conditioning (2 weeks of conditioning)

March 15, 2021 First day of pre-season workouts

April 12, 2021 First official day of the season (tryouts)

If any changes are made by VHSL or Spotsylvania County Schools I will update as necessary.

2020-2021 Informational Night

 

We will have an informational night on Wednesday, August 26 @ 6:00pm.  This meeting is for both players and their parents.  I have posted the link on our Band app however if you are interested and were not on the team last year please email me at mmalobic@gmail.com and I will send you the link to our virtual meeting.

2020 Season is here!

IMPORTANT DATES

• Condition will continue on Thursday, Feb. 20 from 3:00-5:00

• Tryouts will be Feb. 24-26 from 2:45-5:30

• Team practice begins Feb 27 and all practices will be from 2:45 - 5:30 until March 9

• No Practice on March 3

• Pictures will be March 5

• Parent informational night will be March 9 @ 6:00pm in the schools auditorium

• Scrimmage @ Culpeper Tuesday, March 10

• Spring Break March 16-20 - No Practice

Open Courts this Fall

Are you interested in playing tennis?  If so you are invited to open courts starting Wednesday August 21  through Nov. 6 from 2:45-5:00. 

You must have a completed physical form to participate.  

Please bring something to drink.

Cougars fall in Battlefield District Finals

The boys played well against a strong JM team.  This was a good test and hopefully a confidence builder as we move into Regional play.

Cougars finish season with a win over Spotsylvania

The Cougars concluded their regular season and improved to (12-3)(8-0)  with a 9-0 win over Spotsylvania

The Cougars will travel to James Monroe to play in the Battlefield District final tomorrow, May 10

Cougars finish Regional play undefeated!

The Cougars improved to (11-3)(8-0)  with a win over King George 9-0
