A tough match on Senior Night sees the Cougars fall to Caroline 5-4. The Cougars are now 9-4 overall but remain 7-2 in Conference play with one final match against Chancellor. If they can beat Chancellor they will secure the #2 seed in the Conference and earn a bye in the first round of the tournament that will start the week of May 12. One of the highlights tonight was at #3 doubles where Zach and Aaron were trailing 9-6 but came back to win in a tie breaker!!
Singles:
1. Marcus won 10 - 5
2. Miguel lost 11 - 9
3. Cole lost 10-5
4. Zach lost 10-6
5 Patrick lost 10 - 5
6. Aaron won 10 - 4
Doubles:
1. Marcus/Miguel lost 3-0 retired due to injury
2. Hunter/Cole won 10 - 5
3. Zach/Aaron won 11-10 (7-3)
The boys will host Spotsylvania on Monday, May 5.
